To activate your Pendulum:

1. Make sure your mind is clear, relaxed, and focused. Remove any distractions that could take away from your mindfulness. 
2. Sit up straight and keep both feet flat on the floor. Place the pendulum board in front of you. Hold the Pendulum between your thumb and forefinger while keeping your wrist arched. Ensure your forearm is steady, and then let the pendulum dangle.
3. We recommend that you program the signals for the yes and no answers every time you sit down to do a reading. You can do this by asking sample questions that you know the answer to already and seeing if the Pendulum is accurate. Then, once you've determined the swings for yes and no, position the pendulum board so that your yes and no answers align with your pendulum swings for yes and no.
4. Now, you are ready to ask your questions. Each question should be a yes or no answer and be as specific as possible. Once you ask a question, be patient, concentrate on your question, and do not think about the answer. Stay detached and focus on wanting the correct answer. When the pendulum swings, watch where it goes to receive your verdict. For reference, if the Pendulum swings rigorously, it is a loud response, and if slow, it is quicker.
